Privacy and personal data
Updated: 15 October 2026.
This page explains how personal information relates to the Dithyrambos website, project enquiries and representation applications. Only information necessary for the relevant transaction should be used. Reading this page or visiting the site does not by itself constitute consent.
Activities and contact
The website and Turkish enquiry processes are managed by the business in Türkiye trading as Dithyrambos. General and privacy enquiries: hello@dithyrambos.com. Representation: voices@dithyrambos.com. Phone: +90 (0) 212 706 56 40. Istanbul contact address: Esentepe Mah. Büyükdere Cad. Maya Akar Center No:102 / 63, 34381 Şişli / İstanbul / Türkiye.
Types of information
An enquiry may involve your name, email, optional phone and company, script, intended media, territories, schedule, selected artists, correspondence and attachments. Representation applications may include biographies, professional experience, photographs and demos.
Hosting and access services may process IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser information and error logs for service delivery and security. The site does not analyse voices or photographs biometrically to identify people uniquely. Do not send identity documents, health details or other sensitive information unnecessary for the project.
Collection and forms
Information may come from emails and files you send, project or representation discussions, and technical requests generated when accessing the site. Share another person’s information only if authorised to do so.
Current enquiry and sharing forms prepare an email draft on your device; completing a form alone does not send it to us. Recipients receive it when you send the draft through your email app. Server-connected VIP account access is not yet enabled. Preparing a draft does not create an account or approve access.
Purposes and legal bases
Responding to enquiries, checking availability, preparing proposals and delivering agreed services may rely on processing directly necessary to establish or perform a contract. Assessing representation applications and following up business correspondence may depend on pre-contractual steps or legitimate interests that do not override your rights.
Applicable legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims may justify project records and dispute handling. Separate consent is needed where consent is required and no other processing condition applies. Privacy information and consent are distinct; this page is not a blanket consent form.
Recipients
Necessary project information may be shared with the relevant artist and recording or production team. Email, hosting, technical, accounting and legal service providers may access information needed for their tasks. Competent authorities may receive information where legally required.
People receiving a shortlist link can see the artist choices it contains. You choose recipients in sharing forms: check addresses and attachments before sending. We do not ask for unrestricted permission to disclose information to any third party.
International activity and transfers
Transfers from Türkiye must satisfy Article 9 of Law No. 6698: adequacy, an appropriate safeguard, or a qualifying exceptional transfer condition must be assessed as applicable.
This page does not assert that a standard contract has been signed or that every transfer is authorised. Ask hello@dithyrambos.com about recipients and safeguards for a specific transaction. Where UK or other data protection law applies, its additional transfer requirements must also be considered.
Retention, deletion and security
Enquiries and applications should be kept for assessment and necessary follow-up; contracts, invoices and dispute records for the applicable legal retention and claims periods. No single fixed period fits all information. When a purpose and legal basis end, information should be deleted, destroyed or anonymised unless another retention obligation applies.
Security and access permissions must be appropriate to the information involved. Check your authority before sharing confidential scripts or third-party data. Identity verification for a privacy request should ask only for information proportionate to resolving it securely.
Shortlist and browser storage
Shortlist stores selected artist identifiers in your browser’s local storage. It is not an account or automatic cross-device synchronisation. Clear the shortlist or the site’s browser data to remove choices. Storage restrictions may prevent persistence.
Shareable links include artist identifiers in the URL. The people and services receiving a link can see them. Do not put private project details or personal contact information into such links.
Cookies and external links
The current site code contains no advertising or visitor-analytics cookies. Local storage supports Shortlist. Hosting, security or access platforms may use their own technical cookies and logs, covered by their notices.
Opening IMDb or other external links takes you to services governed by their own terms and privacy information. If optional analytics or advertising tools are introduced, suitable notice and any required consent mechanism must be provided separately.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Türkiye’s Law No. 6698, you can ask whether information is processed, request details, learn the purposes and recipients, seek correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction when conditions apply, ask for relevant recipients to be notified of corrections or deletion, object to adverse outcomes based solely on automated analysis, and seek compensation for unlawful processing.
Where another law, such as UK data protection law, applies, access, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent may also be available subject to its conditions. Rights and exceptions depend on the transaction and applicable law.
Requests, complaints and updates
Send general questions to hello@dithyrambos.com. Formal Turkish data-protection requests must follow the statutory methods, including written applications or an email address previously supplied and registered with the relevant controller. Explain your request, the transaction concerned and how to contact you.
Requests under Law No. 6698 must be resolved as soon as possible and within 30 days; the Board’s tariff may apply if additional cost arises. You may complain to Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Board when statutory conditions are met. Where UK law applies, ICO complaint rights and relevant response periods may also apply. This page is updated when operations or law change; transaction-specific privacy information must also be supplied.
